College football fans have two major matchups to watch this Saturday.

SportsLine, a betting analysis service, recommends backing Miami and Oklahoma State as the favorites in their respective games. The recommendation comes with a specific betting offer from BetMGM. New users who enter code CBSSPORTS can receive up to $1,500 in bonus bets if their first qualifying wager loses. If the first bet wins, the user receives $150 in bonus bets. The availability of this offer depends on the user's location.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every FBS game 10,000 times to determine outcomes. The model enters Week 9 with a 68-59 record on its top-rated college football picks. Players who followed these selections on betting sites would have returned nearly $400 for every $100 wagered.

In the first game, Miami faces North Carolina. The Hurricanes are 7-0 on the season and have covered the spread in five of their seven victories. Miami possesses the No. 1 offense in the nation, averaging 44.3 points per game. Quarterback Darian Mensah has thrown for 2,151 yards and 21 touchdowns. Wide receiver Malachi Toney has accumulated 952 yards and 11 touchdowns. North Carolina is 4-3 overall in the second year of the Bill Belichick era. The Tar Heels are 1-2 against the spread at home this season. The model projects Miami to cover the 14-point spread in 58% of simulations.

In the second game, Oklahoma State hosts Iowa State. Oklahoma State is favored by 9.5 points. Micah Roberts, a SportsLine expert, supports the Cowboys based on the performance of quarterback Drew Mestemaker. Mestemaker leads the Big 12 Conference in scoring with 40 points per game. Roberts notes that Mestemaker has drawn attention from NFL scouts. Oklahoma State has covered the spread in six straight games while winning five of them.

Iowa State enters the game with a 3-4 record. The Cyclones lost head coach Matt Campbell to Penn State in the offseason. Campbell took quarterback Rocco Becht with him to the Nittany Lions. Roberts says he is on Oklahoma State for this matchup.

Bettors can combine the Miami and Oklahoma State picks into a single wager at BetMGM Sportsbook. This combination carries odds of +284. A $100 stake on this parlay would yield a profit of $284 if both teams cover their spreads. The odds are subject to change before the games begin.
