Ruben Amorim and Luciano Spalletti will enter their respective stadiums this weekend with their coaching futures hanging in the balance. Both managers face immediate pressure to win in the 10th round of Serie A, a stretch of play that could define their tenures at AC Milan and Juventus.

AC Milan hosts Inter at San Siro on Saturday at 3:45 p.m. ET. The fixture, known as the Derby della Madonnina, pits the 21st century's most intense city rivals against one another. Cristian Chivu's Inter sits atop the league table alongside Lazio. However, the Nerazzurri have conceded 10 goals in their first nine matches, a statistic that signals defensive fragility. Their last away victory came only through two own goals against Venezia. A win here would end a six-game winless streak against their Milan counterparts.

AC Milan currently trails the league leaders by seven points. Their most recent home defeat, a 4-2 loss to Bologna, has intensified scrutiny on Amorim. A loss in the derby could effectively end their Scudetto campaign for the season. Conversely, a victory would reignite their title push and stabilize the locker room.

Juventus faces a similar crossroads on Sunday. The Bianconeri host Napoli at the Allianz Stadium at 2:45 p.m. ET. Luciano Spalletti has endured a difficult run of results, including a recent away defeat to Genoa. This match carries personal weight for Spalletti, who previously managed Napoli from 2021 to 2023. He led the club to its first league title since the 1990s before moving to the Italian national team. He returned to club management with Juventus in October 2025, replacing Igor Tudor.

Napelli arrives in Turin without head coach Massimiliano Allegri, who is suspended. The matchup offers Spalletti a chance to prove his tactical evolution against a former club. If he falls short, the pressure to replace him will likely reach a critical threshold.

AS Roma also plays a pivotal role in the weekend's competitive dynamics. Gian Piero Gasperini's side visits Udinese on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET. A victory would allow Roma to close the gap on the teams above them. Meanwhile, Udinese head coach Kosta Runjaic faces a final test to retain his position after a slow start to the season. The match airs on CBS, with betting odds favoring Roma at minus 198.

The remainder of Matchday 10 unfolds across Italy. Saturday's slate includes Bologna versus Monza and the Milan derby. Sunday features Como versus Venezia, Frosinone versus Torino, Lazio versus Cagliari, Lecce versus Genoa, and the Juventus match. The round concludes on Monday with Sassuolo versus Fiorentina and Atalanta versus Parma.
