AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, is the most haunted sports venue in North America, according to a ranking published by Sports Geek. The company assigned the 17-year-old facility a score of 62 out of 100, placing it ahead of 46 other professional sports venues across the United States and Canada.
The ranking process evaluated each site across seven weighted categories. Published ghost stories and documentation carried the most weight, worth 30 points. Stadium age, proximity to burial sites, and verified historical tragedies each contributed 15 points or less. The remaining categories included Reddit discussions, paranormal tours, and named recurring ghosts. AT&T Stadium earned the maximum points available for published ghost stories.
Staff members at the stadium have reported various paranormal experiences. Employees described seeing mysterious shadows and hearing unexplained voices. Footsteps were reported to approach and then stop suddenly. In one kitchen area, workers witnessed dishes rising into the air before crashing to the floor. The report stated that this incident caused some workers to quit on the spot.
The stadium is located near Keystone Cemetery, a factor that influenced its score. Workers also noted an unexplained cold spot near a room named after legendary Cowboys coach Tom Landry. This detail has fueled speculation that his spirit remains at the venue.
Sports Geek reviewed 47 total sites for the list. The final score for AT&T Stadium reflects its high ranking in the documentation category and its physical location near a burial site. The report does not include a category for team performance, despite the Cowboys' playoff history.
