Manatee County law enforcement officials completed a multi-month investigation into local narcotics distribution by securing a search warrant for a residence in Bradenton. The operation culminated in the arrest of a 27-year-old man and the removal of an infant from the property.

Detectives conducted undercover purchases from Miguel Aguilar-Hernandez at a home in the 4900 block of 22nd Street West. Following these transactions, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office obtained a warrant to search the location. On October 23, deputies from the Sheriff's Office SWAT team assisted detectives in entering the home to execute the warrant.

Inside the residence, officers located Aguilar-Hernandez, a woman, and their baby. The Florida Department of Children and Families responded to the scene and removed the infant from the home. Agency officials have not yet determined if the woman faces criminal charges or an arrest related to the operation.

Deputies inventoried several items during the search. The narcotics recovered were valued at more than $150,000. The specific quantities included 1.75 pounds of cocaine, 15 pounds of marijuana, 362.9 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 187.4 grams of MDMA, 35.5 grams of Adderall, 19.3 grams of ketamine, and 3.3 grams of oxycodone. Officers also seized three guns and $3,366 in cash.

Aguilar-Hernandez is currently in custody. He faces multiple charges stemming from the undercover purchases and the search results. These charges include trafficking in cocaine, possession of marijuana and MDMA with intent to sell, possession of controlled substances, and multiple counts of selling cocaine and MDMA.

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office provided the details of the investigation, the execution of the warrant, and the list of seized items. No further court dates were announced in the initial report.
