Heidi Klum hosted her annual Halloween party on Saturday, wearing a costume made of a large, severed hand.
Klum described the creation process in an interview with E! News on the red carpet. She said her own left hand provided the inspiration for the design.
"I looked at my hand and I was thinking, 'How can I fit my body into this hand?' There must be a way… Two legs could fit into fingers and the body in my palm, and it did work," Klum said.
The event featured a star-studded guest list and solidified Klum's reputation for elaborate annual costumes. Janelle Monáe also threw a party called Wondaween: Creature Camp. Megan Thee Stallion held her Hottieween Boo Bash at the same time.
Social media users also focused on Gabourey Sidibe. She appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show dressed as Drake. The outfit referenced Drake's recent 40th birthday appearance in a casual fall outfit.
Sidibe's costume trended across social platforms. The timing matched the widespread online discussion of Drake's birthday photos.
