3 Victims Charged Against Pa. Hayride Worker as DA Seeks Others

Bucks County prosecutors have charged a 38-year-old man in three alleged sexual assaults, including one involving a child under 12, and are asking the public to identify anyone else who may have been targeted. Edward Eisenhard faces numerous charges, and District Attorney Joe Khan said investigators "strongly believe that there are additional victims."

Khan addressed reporters Tuesday. "There are real monsters in the world," he said, describing Eisenhard as a "highly dangerous recidivistic sex offender." Detectives with the district attorney's office uncovered additional allegations of similar behavior at both of his workplaces.

One alleged attack occurred September 25 at Valley of Fear, a haunted hayride attraction in Feasterville, during its opening night. A criminal complaint states Eisenhard approached an employee who was working alone, grabbed her throat "to the point that she had difficulty breathing," pinned both her wrists above her head against a wall, made sexual comments and indecently assaulted her over her clothing. He was working at the attraction at the time.

Valley of Fear fired him the next day. Two days later, prosecutors say he assaulted the same victim again at a Five Below store in Hilltown Township, where he also worked. The victim told investigators that Eisenhard, her boss, restrained and sexually assaulted her while she was cleaning the store's back stockroom.

Eisenhard was arrested October 1. Investigators say that before those incidents, he also repeatedly abused and sexually assaulted a child under 12 at a home in Springfield Township. His charges were upgraded Thursday. He remains in jail after being unable to post bail following his arrest, and the district attorney is asking that he be held without bail.
